Pierre Tinard, pratique de l'aïkido

I didn't come from tech, from code:

I came from sales, from human connection, from Aikido.

A professional life built on curiosity

as much as necessity.

For much of my life, I worked in sales: understanding clients, adapting to constantly changing contexts.

Then came the passion for Aikido: first as a practitioner, then as an instructor.

After earning a Federal Patent — (a volunteer teaching diploma),

I passed on this discipline to students of all ages.

Finally, a quest for meaning: combining my passion for coding with human contact.

Which led to a career change — starting from scratch — into web development.

As a freelancer.

It's not a straight line.

But it taught me to stay curious, to never assume I already know.

In Aikido, this mindset is called Shoshin — the beginner's mind, rooted in Japanese Zen philosophy.

It gives its name to my practice, and it's what I bring to my work every day.

Since 2023, I've been building custom web applications

for SMEs, startups, and project owners:

tools designed around your business, built with care, made to last.

Nuxt.js, TypeScript, Python, PostgreSQL, Docker — a solid stack, chosen for reliability, not for chasing trends.

What my years outside the tech world gave me is a different way of listening.

Before writing a single line of code, I try to understand what you actually do, where things get stuck, and what you truly need.

I work independently, remotely, from Carcassonne.

No middlemen.

One point of contact, from scoping to launch.

If you have a project in mind:

(even vague, even not yet defined),

I'm available to talk.
